The Umpqua Ultimate Bike Ride

The ride will be 23, 45 or 60 miles of the most beautiful scenery in Oregon.
Start and finish at Sutherlin's Central Park.
The 45 mile ride starts at 9:00 at Sutherlin's Central Park.
Enjoy your ride through Douglas County's best biking country. You will pass wineries (stop for a taste or tour), historic farms, cross a covered bridge and ride along the famed Umpqua River from Tyee to Umpqua. At the finish, enjoy a hot meal, beverages and friendship at the Sutherlin Community Center.
Begin at Sutherlin's Central Park. Go west on Central Avenue. At 3.0 miles turn right on Stearns Lane. At 3.5 turn left on Rochester Bridge Road and cross the covered bridge. At 4.5 turn left on Green Valley Road. At 11.6 turn right on Highway 138. At 14.8 turn left on Tyee Road OR continue 200 yards to the Tyee Store for a snack or potty break. Continue on Tyee Road. At 37.8 turn right in front of the Lighthouse Center Bakery. At 37.9 turn right on Fort McKay. At 38.7 turn right into Henry Estates Winery. After your break, turn left on Fort McKay. Continue back to Sutherlin and go to Central Park for lunch.
Toilets can be found at the Tyee Store (45 mp), the boat ramp (39 mp), the Lighthouse Center Bakery and the Henry Estates Winery.
Don't forget to take along some money to purchase wine. We will transport it to the park for you.
