The Umpqua Ultimate Bike Ride

The ride will be 23, 45 or 60 miles of the most beautiful scenery in Oregon.
Start and finish at Sutherlin's Central Park.
The 60 mile ride start at 9:00 at Sutherlin's Central Park.
Enjoy your ride through Douglas County's best biking country. You will pass wineries (stop for a taste or tour), historic farms, cross a covered bridge and ride along the famed Umpqua River from Tyee to Umpqua. At the finish, enjoy a hot meal, beverages and friendship at the Sutherlin Community Center.
Begin at Sutherlin's Central Park. Go east on Central Avenue. At 2.0 turn left on North Side Road. At 4.7 turn left on Old Pioneer Road. At 7.0 turn left on Driver Valley Road. At 9.9 (in downtown Oakland) turn right on 1st Street. Cross bridge and turn left at 10.3 on Green Valley Road. At 13.3 turn right on Green Valley Road. At 20.4 turn right on Highway 138. At 23.6 turn left on Tyee Road (or continue 200 yards to Tyee Store for a snack or potty break). Continue on Tyee Road. At 46.6 turn right (in front of the Lighthouse Center Bakery). At 46.7 turn right on Fort McKay. At 47.6 turn right into Henry Estates Winery. After break, turn left onto Fort McKay. (At 49.5 the Cole Road option begins. Turn left and continue 6 mile loop. Turn left on Fort McKay). Continue east to Sutherlin Central Park for lunch.
Toilets are located at the Tyee Store (mp 30.7), the boat ramp (mp 39), the Lighthouse Center Bakery (mp46.6), Henry Estates Winery (mp 47.6), and Misty Oaks Winery.
Don't forget to take along some money to purchase wine. We will transport it to the park for you.
